Steph Curry surely would have preferred to be involved in Game 7 of the NBA Finals in the early hours of Monday morning (Irish time) but he couldn't have enjoyed a better alternative.
Unfortunately for Curry and his Golden State Warriors teammates, their playoff journey ended abruptly at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves but that did allow them to enjoy an extended holiday at least.
And the point-guard seems to be making the most of it as just a matter of hours after the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Indiana Pacers to land the trophy for the first time in their history, Curry was out on the famous Waterville golf course in Kerry.
Steph was joined by his brother Seth, who plays in the NBA himself with the Charlotte Hornets, their father Dell, who played in the NBA from 1986 until 2002, and their friend Damion Lee, currently of the Phoenix Suns but a former teammate of Steph at Golden State.
"A very warm welcome to NBA legends Steph Curry, Seth Curry, their father Dell Curry, and fellow NBA star Damion Lee to Waterville Golf Links," the club posted on Instagram.
"It was an honour to host such incredible talent from the basketball world - we hope you enjoyed your day on the links!"
