Disappointment for Irish at LPGA Tour school

Sara Byrne and Lauren Walsh fail to make the cut

Sara Byrne failed in her bid for an LPGA Tour card at final qualifying. 

There was disappointment for both Sara Byrne and Lauren Walsh as the Irish duo missed the cut at LPGA Q-school.

Dubliner Walsh had given herself a chance of making the cut after a terrific 67 on Saturday. However, a three-over-par round of 74 on the Falls Course at RTJ at Magnolia Grove left her at four over overall, two shots outside the cut mark of +2.
