Ballyneety Golf Club to host Junior Ryder Cup in 2027

Ballyneety will host the first two days of foursomes and fourballs between male and female juniors from Europe and the United States.

Ryder Cup Europe have officially announced that the 2027 Junior Ryder Cup will take place at Ballyneety Golf Club in Limerick.

The Junior Ryder Cup, which was first held in 1997, has produced a number of golfing stars as Rory McIlroy, Nicolai Højgaard and Nicolas Colsaerts, the 2023 European Ryder Cup Vice-Captain, all triumphed in the event before also winning the Ryder Cup, while Suzanne Peterson, Carlota Ciganda, Leona Maguire and Emily Kristine Pedersen played as amateurs before lifting the Solheim Cup.
