Sara Byrne four shots off the lead heading into the weekend at the LET

The Douglas native has made it comfortably to the weekend at her first professional competition.

Sara Byrne sits four shots of the lead tied for fifteen after a second round of one under 71 to leave her three overall at the Ladies European Tour event in Alicante.

Byrne, on her professional debut, got off to a flying start with a birdie on the second. She held par until the fifth where she hit her first of three bogeys of the afternoon.
