Shane Lowry and Rory McIlroy will play in this afternoon's fourballs as Europe chase a 9-3 deficit against the USA in the Ryder Cup following the morning foursomes.

Lowry has been sent out first with Tyrrell Hatton against Tony Finau and Harris English, with Europe realistically needing to at least win the session to have any chance of overall victory.
