Woods accepts two-stroke penalty

Tiger Woods today said he understood and accepted the decision of Masters officials to hand him a two-shot penalty for taking an incorrect drop during yesterday’s second round.

“At hole #15, I took a drop that I thought was correct and in accordance with the rules. I was unaware at that time I had violated any rules,” Woods wrote on his official Twitter account.
