Toshinori Muto claimed his third career title on the Japan Tour with a three-stroke victory after producing a scintillating final round at The Championship by Lexus today.

Toshinori Muto claimed his third career title on the Japan Tour with a three-stroke victory after producing a scintillating final round at The Championship by Lexus today.

The 31-year-old had started the day six shots behind overnight leaders Shigeki Maruyama and Kim Kyung-tae but carded the lowest score of the tournament with a seven-under-par 64.

Korean Kim took second place after a two under 69 today while Maruyama finished third with a one under 71.

Toru Suzuki shot a six under 65 to climb the leaderboard and take fourth while Australian Wayne Perske (71) claimed fifth place.
