Scotland’s David Drysdale, chasing his first European Tour victory in 166 starts, shared the lead with Dane Soren Kjeldsen after five holes of the final round at the Andalucian Open in Seville.

Kjeldsen led by one following his course-record 62 and by three when he birdied the first and Drysdale bogeyed it.

But the 34-year-old from Edinburgh, who has been to the Tour qualifying school 10 times, birdied the fourth and fifth and Kjeldsen dropped a stroke at the fifth.

They were 14 under, three clear of Drysdale’s compatriot Alastair Forsyth and five clear of Welshman Rhys Davies and German Marcel Siem.
