McIlroy one shot off lead in Abu Dhabi

Rory McIlroy is just one shot off the lead after carding a second-round 69 at the Abu Dhabi Championship today.

The 19-year-old has reached the halfway stage on nine under par, one shot behind Paul Casey and Anthony Wall.

Richard Greene and Graeme Storm were also 10 under after 13 holes of their second rounds.

Elsewhere, Padraig Harrington was six under par after 12 holes after carding five birdies today, while Paul McGinley and Damien McGrane have both reached the halfway stage on two under.

Gary Murphy was two under after 13 holes, while Peter Lawrie also looked likely to make the cut on one under par.
