Westwood in Belfry play-off
A week after being part of the losing Ryder Cup team, defending champion Lee Westwood went into a play-off for the Quinn Insurance British Masters at The Belfry today.
Level with Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano with one to play, Westwood was favourite when the Spaniard found sand off the tee and missed the green.
But he chipped to three feet and Westwood missed his 20-foot birdie attempt.
They tied on 12 under par, two ahead of New Zealander Michael Campbell.
