Europe off to flying start in Valhalla

Not for the first time, Europe got off to a flying start in Valhalla today with Ian Poulter almost holing his approach to the first and being conceded the winning birdie putt.

Stuart Cink then drove into water on the next and the resulting double bogey six gave Justin Rose and Poulter an early two-hole lead.
