McDowell fined for slow play

Ireland's Graeme McDowell, eagerly looking forward to a first Ryder Cup cap next month, has become the first European Tour player to be fined for slow play this season.

McDowell has had to fork out €500 after being put on the clock for the 17th time at the Bridgestone World Championship in America two weeks ago.
