Snedeker sneaks ahead in Hawaii

American Brandt Snedeker grabbed the early lead at the season-opening Mercedes-Benz Championship in Hawaii.

Snedeker was five-under-par, one shot ahead of Sweden’s Daniel Chopra on the Plantation Course at Kapalua, which is the only par-73 layout on the PGA Tour.
