Browne three shots off lead in South Africa

Stephen Browne is faring best of the Irish competitors on day one of the Dunhill Championship in South Africa today.

He carded a two-under-par 70 to end the day three shots adrift of early leader Sion Bebb.

Peter Lawrie had a nightmare first round, carding a six-over-par 78, while Darren Clarke was one under par after 12 holes.
