The Ryder Cup will continue to be exclusively live on Sky Sports until at least 2012, while a new agreement starting in 2009 will see live coverage of the first two days’ play in four European Tour events switch from BBC to Sky.

The events concerned are the BMW PGA Championship, Barclays Scottish Open, Quinn Direct British Masters and World Match Play Championship at Wentworth.
