Maguire shines at Lahinch

Child star Lisa Maguire has blasted her way into the semi-finals of the Lancôme Irish Ladies’ Close Championship at Lahinch today.

The 12-year-old from Slieve Russell beat Limerick's Catherine Tucker 4 & 3 and then thrashed The Curragh's Sinead Keane 5 & 4 to set up a semi-final clash with Tipperary's Marian Riordan on Wednesday.
