Rodiles leads in Spain

Spaniard Carlos Rodiles took a two-stroke lead into the final round of the Spanish Open in Madrid today.

The Malaga golfer, winner of the European Tour qualifying school last November, had to play 14 holes of his third round this morning following rain delays on the first three days.

He covered them in five under for a 14-under aggregate, birdies at the 16th and 17th taking him clear of the chasing pack.

England's Simon Dyson was in second place after matching Rodiles's 66, but owed his position to South African Charl Schwartzel double-bogeying the last after climbing to 13 under.
