Turner named golfer of the week in US
Cork golfer Niall Turner was named the Big Ten Conference's Golfer of the Week after his third top-10 finish of the season at last weekend's Augusta State Invitational.
The University of Minnesota senior and All-American fired a final round 71 to tie for eighth at two-under-par 214 (73-70-71) on the 7,301-yard Champions Retreat Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia to earn the second career weekly honour of his collegiate career.
