Francella wins play-off

Meaghan Francella birdied the fourth play-off hole to claim her maiden LPGA title at the rain-delayed MasterCard Classic in Mexico City.

Having had her final round put back a day due to rain, the American shot a three-under-par 69 at the Bosque Real Country Club to finish in a tie for first with Annika Sorenstam on 11 under.
