Harrington drops to 13th as play suspended

Padraig Harrington finished tied on 13th place as the Honda Classic was suspended after darkness set in the middle of a four-way play-off.

The Irishman finished on level par along with six other players including Bernhard Langer and former leader Charlie Wi.

Unknown Boo Weekley had bogeyed the final hole of regulation to force a four-way playoff, which lasted one hole before darkness set in and play was suspended.

Weekley, third-round leader Mark Wilson, youngster Camilo Villegas and veteran Jose Coceres will return to PGA National Resort & Spa at 1.30pm GMT after the four finished on five under.

Coceres is the only member of the quartet with a PGA Tour win, breaking through for a pair of victories six years ago.

All four players parred the first play-off hole, the par-five 18th, and had Weekley done that in regulation, he would have secured his first career win, $1m (€761,555) and a coveted two-year tour exemption.

A member of the Nationwide Tour for the last four years, Weekley began the day one shot behind Wilson.

He followed all four of his birdies with bogeys, including the crucial one at the final hole, for a level-par round of 70 and a five-under-par total of 275.
