Colin Montgomerie is keen to record his first victory for a year when he begins the defence of his UBS Hong Kong Open tomorrow.

The Scot’s last tournament win came on the Fanling golf course in December 2005 when he capitalised on a double bogey by South African James Kingston to win the event.
