Howell quietly confident

David Howell is not the type to go shouting from the rooftops that he will conquer all at the US Open in two weeks’ time.

And since the only three rounds he has ever played in the event are 78, 81 and 74 it is perhaps wise not to get too excited about his prospects for Winged Foot.
