A 30-foot eagle putt on the long 11th lifted Fredrik Jacobson into a tie for fourth with fellow Swede Richard Johnson and Norway’s Henrik Bjornstad on the third day of the Bank of America Colonial tournament in Texas.

With seven holes to play the pair were three behind new leader Tim Herron, the American taking over at the top after halfway pacesetter Rod Pampling resumed with a bogey six and remained nine under after eight holes.
