Monty misses half-way cut at Carton House

Colin Montgomerie today missed his seventh halfway cut in nine events – on a course he designed.

Montgomerie birdied three of his last five holes in the second round of the Nissan Irish Open at Carton House, completing a 72 just as play was suspended at 9pm yesterday evening.
