Player moves step closer to record

Gary Player called on the spirit of Winston Churchill today as he teed off in his 49th Masters.

Now 70 and the oldest competitor at Augusta, the South African is determined to play twice more so that he can hold the record for most appearances at both the Masters and Open Championships.
