The R&A have announced that Turnberry will host the 2009 Open Championship from July 16-19.

The R&A have announced that Turnberry will host the 2009 Open Championship from July 16-19.

It will be the fourth time the Ayrshire course has staged the event since it was added to the Open roster in 1977.
