Just a week after winning a Jaguar car European Tour rookie Oliver Wilson put the spotlight back on himself with two more spectacular shots today – and now has a great chance to win the Nissan Irish Open.

Wilson, a member of Britain and Ireland’s Walker Cup-winning side two years ago, had two eagles in the space of three holes at Carton House and will go into the final day in joint second place two behind Nick Dougherty, another of British golf’s bright prospects.
