Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee has been named European Tour golfer of the month for February following his impressive defence of the Carlsberg Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur.

Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee has been named European Tour golfer of the month for February following his impressive defence of the Carlsberg Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur.

The 35-year-old led from start to finish, closing on 21 under par to win by three strokes from India's Jyoti Randhawa.
