Tiger to join stars at McManus Pro-Am

Tiger Woods has confirmed that he will return to Ireland next July to play in the JP McManus Invitational Pro-Am at Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort.

Woods will lead a strong contingent at the charity event including Ryder Cup opponents Padraig Harrington, Thomas Bjorn and Paul McGinley.

Americans Rocco Mediate and Mark O'Meara, along with Australian aces Stuart Appleby and Robert Allenby, have also confirmed.

The Pro-Am raises funds for charities in the Mid-West and a similar event in 2000 raised almost €20m.
