Drummond challenges Cabrera

Argentina’s Angel Cabrera remained one ahead of little-known Scot Scott Drummond with nine holes to play in the Volvo PGA championship at Wentworth today.

Both went to the turn in a fine three under 32 amid the showers, putting Cabrera 15 under par and Drummond, 435th in the world, 14 under.

Darren Clarke, twice a runner-up in the event, and Swede Joakim Haeggman were two behind, Clarke after birdies at the 10th and 11th.
