Sweden’s Oskar Henningsson led the qualifiers in the West of Ireland Championship at Rosses Point thanks to a superb course record equalling 65.

The 18 year old fired seven birdies and had just one bogey on his card - a three putt from inside 15 feet at the sixth - to finish on nine under par and five shots clear of Dunmurry’s Darren Crowe.
