Montgomerie ready for Matchplay

Colin Montgomerie is in confident mood heading into this week’s Accenture Matchplay after finishing 16th at the Carlsberg Malaysian Open despite struggles with both the heat and his putting.

The seven-times Order of Merit winner believes he is playing as well as ever and if he can get that putting right and adjust to the jet-lag in time, he is in with a definite chance in California.
