Woods remains down the field in Hamburg
Tiger Woods was still only in 28th place with nine holes to play in the Deutsche Bank-SAP Open in Germany today.
Setting off joint 38th in a heavy downpour the world number one, winner of the title the last two years, birdied the first two holes, but parred the next seven.
At eight under par he was seven adrift of Padraig Harrington, who led by two overnight from Northern Ireland’s Graeme McDowell.
Best move of the morning came from Welshman David Park, who turned in 31 and added another birdie at the 12th to be joint fifth at 11 under.
