Frost delays semis
Today’s two semi-finals in the Cisco World Match Play championship at Wentworth have been delayed because of frost.
Michael Campbell - conqueror of Nick Faldo and Ian Woosnam on his debut in the event - meets Spain’s Sergio Garcia in a match which is now due to start at 0945.
Ernie Els and Vijay Singh face each other in the other semi-final, which is now set to begin at 10am.
With the crowd gathered around the first tee and waiting for Garcia and Campbell to join them it was announced that there would be a further 15-minute hold-up, with play now due to start at 10am.
