Europe today regained the Ryder Cup from the United States after a dramatic final day of singles action at The Belfry.

Paul McGinley of Ireland ensured that Europe won the cup for the eighth time - three of those as Great Britain – when he halved his match against Jim Furyk with a dramatic 18-foot putt on the final green.
