Harrington beats Calcavecchia

Ireland's Padraig Harrington has brushed aside Mark Calcavecchia 5 and 4 to put Europe 10-8 up in the final day of the Ryder Cup.

Also winner of his singles on his debut in Boston three years ago – against Mark O’Meara – Harrington crushed the former Open champion to notch Europe’s second point.
