Parnevik set for Ryder Cup action

Jesper Parnevik was brought into Ryder Cup action at long last this afternoon as Sam Torrance rested some of his star men.

Bernhard Langer, at 45 the oldest man in Europe’s line-up, was given a breather before the singles, as was Thomas Bjorn.
