Harrington makes solid start to Dutch Open
Padraig Harrington has made a solid start to the Dutch Open, with an opening four-under par 66.
The Irishman carded four birdies at the 5th, 8th, 12th and 18th holes. That final birdie ensured ties him for fifth place in the tournament.
Today was a good day for another Irishman as Ronan Rafferty finished one shot higher than Harrington on five under to leave him in a tie for second place.
Paul McGinley is one over after a round of 71, while David Higgins managed to birdie the 18th to finish level for the day..
However, Germany's Tobias Dier is the early leader with a fantastic 10-under par 60, which included birdies at the first, fourth, fifth, eighth, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th , 17th and 18th holes.
