Choi continues to set the pace

KJ Choi continued to set the pace and holds a one-shot lead after the third round of the Compaq Classic in New Orleans.

Heading the leaderboard after 54 holes for the first time in his career, the Korean shot an unspectacular one-under-par 71 to move to 12 under par on 204.

One day after shooting a career-best 65, Choi had three birdies and two bogeys at the English Turn Golf and Country Club.

Choi's last bogey came at the par-four 18th hole and reduced his lead to one stroke over youngster Bryce Molder and John Rollins.

First-round leader Dan Forsman is two shots back.

A native of the Korean island of Wando, Choi has never finished better than fourth in 73 PGA Tour starts.

Molder made a charge with a three-under 69 but, after taking the lead at the 13th, he faltered down the stretch, bogeying three of his final five holes.
