US Masters: Singh faces layoff

Vijay Singh, seventh in the Masters on Sunday, is suffering from the foot injury ‘Plantar Fasciitis’ and is out of action for the next three weeks.

The Fijian, whose hopes of catching Tiger Woods went when he crashed to a quadruple bogey nine on the 15th hole of his final round at Augusta, was scheduled to play the BILT Skins event in India this weekend.
