Golf: Goosen grabs Grand Slam lead
South Africa’s US Open hero Retief Goosen carded a six-under-par 66 for a one-shot lead over three-time defending champion Tiger Woods at the halfway stage of the 36-hole PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Hawaii - the event for the season’s four Major winners.
Woods, The Masters champion, continued his solid play by shooting a five-under 67.
USPGA Championship winner David Toms is in third spot after carding a 68.
But David Duval, who claimed The Open at Royal Lytham in July for his first Major crown, stumbled to a four-over 76 at the Poipu Bay Golf Club.
