Dublin's Padraig Harrington produced some blistering play to leave Nick Faldo needing a miracle in this afternoon's Cisco World Match Play championship first round clash at Wentworth.

Harrington reached the half-way point six up, after a first round 63. Faldo, who managed to win only two of the opening 18 holes, began with three successive bogeys.
