Open champion David Duval overcame his Royal Lytham hangover to win 75,000 Canadian dollars in the Telus Skins in Canada.
After his first-day blank at the Angus Glen Golf Club in Ontario, when he admitted suffering from jet-lag, Duval managed to win the final skin in a carry-over play-off and finish in second place.
Fiji’s Vijay Singh eased the pain of his disappointment in the Open to win the event with a total of 180,000 Canadian dollars.
Mike Weir of Canada claimed third spot while Spain’s Sergio Garcia finished last in the special TV tourney.
