Golf: Faldo finds his form

Nick Faldo climbed into sixth place with an outward 33 in the third round of the Volvo PGA championship at Wentworth today.

After bogeys at the second and third holes, four-time winner Faldo birdied four of the next six and at that point was only three behind Scottish leader Andrew Oldcorn.

But Oldcorn then eagled the long fourth to reach 13 under and stood three ahead of Argentina’s Angel Cabrera and four clear of a group which included Welshman Phillip Price and Fiji’s Vijay Singh.
