Lowry can feel belief growing

Shane Lowry is ready to chase the American dream again this week after his impressive performances in the WGC-Accenture Match Play in Arizona.

Lowry can feel belief growing

The 25-year-old backed up his shock win over world No 1 Rory McIlroy with a 6&5 demolition of PGA Tour veteran Carl Pettersson and while he was out-putted by Graeme McDowell in Saturday’s third round, he insists he’s now more confident about his ability to compete at the highest level.

“I’ll learn a lot from this week,” said Lowry, who is set to jump six places to 62nd in the world today. “I’ve done well and I will get some ranking points and some good exposure. I love it over here.
