Killarney poised for third Open

KILLARNEY Golf and Fishing Club is on the brink of a third successive Irish Open, with a formal announcement “imminent”.

However negotiations with potential sponsors for the event have still not been satisfactorily finalised, it is understood.

The 2012 event in Kerry, which may be confirmed Monday, will take place at the end of June.
