Open tickets on sale at gates

THE European Tour moved last night to quash rumours that the Irish Open, presented by Discover Ireland, was a complete sell-out.

With reports of soaring ticket sales in the wake of Rory McIlroy and Darren Clarke’s recent Major victories, record attendances have been predicted for Killarney Golf & Fishing Club over the four rounds, which begin today.

Advance online ticket sales have closed but golf fans still wishing to attend will not be disappointed with tickets available at the gate on each day.
