GARY PLAYER last night admitted that Rory McIlroy is the most talented golfer he has seen.

The South African legend has backed the Holywood tyro to bounce back from his British Open disappointment and become a multiple Major winner.

Player admitted: “I’ve never seen anybody more talented than Rory is. What he has already achieved is remarkable.
