Legend Keane to be honoured

THE illustrious career of one of Ireland’s best known and loved sportsmen, Moss Keane, will be marked by an unique golf match over the Palmer Course at The K Club on July 13.

Legend Keane to be honoured

Keane played 52 times in the second row for Ireland at a time when there were not as many opportunities to win caps as there are nowadays and he also toured with the Lions. His swashbuckling attitude to life on and off the pitch endeared him to fans all over the world and he has had countless messages of good will as he continues his battle with cancer.

His friends are delighted to have an opportunity on July 13 to get together and to salute his illustrious career and this will take the form of a golf match – arranged in fact before that great rugby clash in Croke Park – of Munster v Leinster.
