More magic at Druids Heath

DRUIDS GLEN is unquestionably one of the major success stories of modern Irish golf. Although only opened in 1995, “Gleann na Draoithe”, as its creator and owner Hugo Flinn likes to call it, hosted the Irish Open from 1996 to 1999, the Seve Trophy in 2002 and European Golf Course of the Year in 2001.

More magic at Druids Heath

Few would have blamed Mr Flinn and director of golf Denis Kane had they sat back and watched the Glen develop into one of the game's finest golfing and social amenities. But they had a vision to develop Druids Glen into a 36 hole complex combined with a luxury hotel. And that's just what has come to pass.

The Druids Glen Marriott Hotel & Country Club has been open for the past 20 months and has already been voted business hotel of the year 2003 by Georgina Campbell's Jameson Guide to Ireland's best places to eat, drink and stay.
